Hello Buick net,
I have to replace can bearings from my 350.
Dus any budy now how the tool to do this looks like. Can I make it my self?
Thanks Koos Diedel.
If you have access to a lathe, you can make one yourself. The tool is a slug that fits into the bearing and has a shoulder to push the bearing into place. The shoulder should be smaller than the smallest hole that a bearing has to be pushed into. I build my tools so that the tool can be wrapped with a piece of electrician's tape to reduce the chances of damage. I drill the tool for a piece of 5/8 shafting for the drift rod.
