    Will a rear seal from a V6 64-90 fit in a 215?

Fishing around for options on the rear seal, I was advised that the seal from a 64 - 90 V6 rear neoprene seal may work to replace the rope seal in the 215. Anyone have any experience on this one?

Looking to replace the rope seal with neoprene.

    Thks

    Larry,

Thks - I am aware of those, but I am trying to find out if I can use a neoprene seal from a v6 engine to replace the rope seal.

    Anybody try it with results?

    Thks

aluminumv8.com sells neoprenes for the 215.

i'm sure they've got their own stock # for that ( vendors like to keep their trade secrets ), but what they're using is certainly a standard part.

i've got part numbers for the Bu350, but i know that that has larger mains than the 215.
