My guess would be the fuel tank vent is clogged or kinked which is stopping/restricting the escape of air as fuel is being pumped in. I've even seen where spiders/bees/wasps have built homes in the vent pipes/tubes. This is what I would check 1st. It's the easiest & costs no $$$$$. If you don't have one get a chassis manual it will save you many times the cost by saving you money on repairs that you will find you are capable of doing & also goes though what & how to troubleshoot certain systems with diagrams.
