    340-4 Spark Plugs

Hey all. What model AC Delco spark plugs should I use for my 67 340- stock rebuild? Book calls for R44S. So many R44's out there. Wha the heck is a a R44TX ?/

"T" is for tapered seat. I believe, but not 100% that "X' is for a wider gap.
On the original plug R44S, "R" is for resistor and if memory serves the "S" is for projected tip. The "44" of course is the heat range. It's been awhile since I looked at an AC catalog.

Crossed them over to #7 Platnium AC Delcos. All dimensions are the same.
    Hopefully a better plug.
