Did you take the flywheel to the machine shop to see if they can grind it? The heat cracks would have to be pretty bad to not be able to be ground out. Couple of small ones left over after grinding probably won't hurt anything.
my daily driver my 62 skylark with a 215 and a borg t-10 sprung a rear main leak. so i pulled the eng to overhaul all the gaskets. come to find out that my clutch is almost gone. pressure plate is glazed and my flywheel has heat cracks in it. i need a fly wheel asap i need my car i cant keep walkin to work. if any one knows somewhere to order them and a clutch that would be a great help. email me please
