I ve been looking for specs/info for my 67 skylark v8 300 2bbl.
I need the bolt down sequence pattern and the foot lbs of torque.
A chart/diagram would be helpfull. Also what type of adhesive/
gasket sealer do you guys recommend to use on the "water ports" of the
intake manifold --so they don t leak antifreeze.
thanks jim projectbuick1970@yahoo.com

The procedure is here: http://www.teambuick.com/reference/l...assis/60-b.pdf on pg 60-81. (66 is the same as 67). The torque specs are at the beginning of that section.

Jim, check "Eastwood.com", they have the right year/color for the different blocks, intake and valve covers.
my 300 didn't have any paint on it. I found some matching candy apple red high temp for the block
everything else will be renewed aluminum finish or
"near chrome".
the bottom of the lesabre (4dr HT) will be candy apple red, the top Nevada Silver. interior black with chrome garnishing (trim).
Im doing a single piece of black walnut for the dash and top of the consol.
I was going to have it on the road by mid september, but I got into this accident two weeks ago and am sorta banged up (no lifting, etc).
its my daughters graduation present (December), I should have it done by then.
Oh, that was dr frankinbuick that supplied the torque chart - will always give credit where it's due.
