What are the Crankshaft casting numbers for the 300's?
that information is quite a bit more difficult to come by than block, head and intake numbers. we don't have it.
How many years was the 300 V8 built?
1964-67.
Are the crankshafts interchangeable from all years?
should be, yes. the only significant difference over the years is that in 1964 the engine had aluminum heads and intake. 65-67 are cast iron.
if you want to go crazy, a Buick 350 crank has actually been placed into a 300 block by D&D Fabrications up in Almont, MI. the runners in the aluminum heads and intake are so small however, that i've seen several people recommending taking the aluminum stuff off and replacing it with the CI parts. if you stroked it to 340ci it would really be choked off.
