The pistons are different. The 9:1 compression 2bbl motor has a larger piston dish, and the 11:1 compression 4bbl engine has less volume in the piston dish. The engines are the same otherwise.
Can someone tell me the difference between the 1964 Buick Wildcat 355 engine vs. the 310? Both are 300 cc. Is it just the carbs that are different with 355 having a 4 barrel and 310 having a two barrel or are there other parts that are different? Much appreciated! Jerry
