Thank You for the info. Todd, I saw a double hump cross member on ebay for a 1975 chevy caprice. would this be compatible for my Buick? I am thinking it would be from the info. you provided, the crossmember on ebay is about half of what G Force wants. The Buick parts book shows the part no. of the original crossmember (aka transmission support) as 351278. This part was the same no for all Buick B-C-E body cars in 1975. See attached page from the parts book under group 4.081.
G Force looks to be a major supplier of the double hump transmission crossmembers. Their part no RCE-400 shows it to fit '75 Buick C-E body cars. See attached description. A call to someone in their application department might confirm that it also fits the B body LeSabre by referencing the GM part no. They may have overlooked the B body cars for that year when compiling the application data.

This crossmember allows installation of your long tube headers and provides clearance for large diameter aftermarket dual exhaust systems.www.crossmembers.com

Thanks again Todd, I am waiting for a response from the ebay seller, I did ask about the dimensions on the cross member. On a different note, do you know of any Buick swap meets/car shows in the eastern PA area? It's hard to tell about the Chevy applications. The 351278 part no doesn't appear in Chevy parts lists. It does appear in Olds and Pontiac parts books along with Buick references for the '71-76 full-size models. There may be minor differences between the car makes which the aftermarket part mfrs accommodate into the parts being sold now.
One thing to check would be the dimension between centerlines of the mounting bolt holes. G Force indicates their part is 54.5" at this point. Hopefully that matches the dim on your car and the eBay Chevy part.
The part vendor (usually a reseller) would have to confirm the Buick application to insure correct fit.
