Skylark Convertble

My 1966 Skylark (not GS) convertible has a VERY rusty frame and underbody. Fenders are showing rust too. Ohio weather, I guess. To expand my search for a doner car, is the 1965,66, and 67 basically the same car, as far as the frame and main body? This vehical only has 63000 miles on it! Runs great, but WATCH THE BUMPS IN THE ROAD!

The GM A-body frame is about the same from 64-67. The 67 has a change in the rear spring mount and spring at the frame. The convertible and GS frames were boxed. You want to make sure you have a boxed frame under a convertible. 66 and 67 A-boby Buick quarters are the same. 66-67 Buick A-body fenders will fit in place of the other, but have a change in trim and trim location. 64-65 Buick A-body parts do not interchangre with the 66-67 A-body.
