New Guy that just bought his first Buick. 1967 GS400

Newbie
Hello
I'm new to Buick's and hope to be asking lots of questions so please be easy on me. I picked up a 1967 GS400 from a neighbor and the car needs a lot of help (for a California car) some rust issues and a motor that's not run in 14 years.
My plan is to get it running and driving then step back and see what's next.

I'll get some pics up in the next couple days. :car:

Thx Doc,
I've got the keys so it's time to start digging in.... after I push it into my shop from next door.

Starting point

Looks like a good starting point compared to some basket cases that better men than me (and the ladies too) have resurected. Look forward to seeing more.

I'm new to Buicks too:shield:

cool

i did the same car but not a gs..only thing i could not find was the rear wheel molding...good luck and have fun....let me know if you need to reference anything...drive mine daily:shield:

I've got it to my house and started working on getting it started. The motor was siezed but a little Marvel Mystery oil freed it up. I think it was due to one of the plugs being removed and mosture getting in.
I tried turning the key tonight and got nothing so I'll put it in the air and check the ignition.

Still hope to have it turning over by the end of the weekend and on the road after I pull the tank and have it cleaned.
