Thanks for all the assistance with the 425 posts.
One question - how much does gas weigh? Is it the same or thereabouts as water?
The reason I ask is that I want to rest the rear ride height on my '65 Skylark but the rear end is stripped out. To do it propoerly I need to know how much a full tank of gas weighs so I can ballast the rear to make up for the removed tank, its gas and boot floor.
If anyone can tell me how much a boot floor and a gas tank weights it will save me weighing them!!!
I've posted this in the bracket racing section since I figured knowing how much gas weighs is a pretty part of drag racing!
