1950's custom Buick Special

[1950 roadster]

HI Everybody, came across this site while looking for information on an odd 50s buick custom roadster I picked up recently in Berwick Maine.

I am a Lifelong Buick Fan and Own 2 GS's, a 1968 GS350- Red W/ White Vinyl top, Black interior, Built 350 with 4 speed and a 1969 GS400 Stage 1 - Very Rough, non original motor, looking for a 1969 400 stage 1 motor...

I am posting to see if anyone has any info or history on this very odd old custom Buick roadster?... Anthing at all is appreciated!

It looks like a 53 Special convertible that somebody sold the chrome off the side of the car, fiiled in the holes and ports with Bondo and then painted it.
