The aftermarket shocks for 63 made in Brazil, could not find a trace to get new. Instead, i fabricated new bolt on upper mounts(posted, see in DIY section). It allowed me many more options at affordeable price in respect to replacement shocks. Otherwise I'd be chasing around everytime the same...

If you need shocks the manufacturers have catalog with specs. Instead of shopping for your car, you find the shock by specs. Tech support is available for questions. The air shocks were option for my 63 skylark for towing a load. I just fitted heavy duty gas shocks from a full size Pontiac. Of...

Sail panel chrome trim holding on curve. I have removed three retainers on each side. But neither side is fully releasing. It's loose on both ends, in the rear middle it's holding. I saw image of a set and nothing is there to hold in the middle. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

    66 skylark center link

suspect it was a Made In China center link, reason is wrong dimensions. Some of the vehicles that had the option would be thicker swaybar for Police Car equipped. Buick members are low attendance on forums, so if any had your problem least likely to post.

    Ground Strap

Bob, I do it very similar to you. Except I install DMM on Amperage setting, inline to power side of battery. Monitor the amperage, pull fuses one at a time if there is an amperage draw. Once the amperage drops that is the circuit of fault. In regard to storing car, you should have a cut off if...

67 GS 400 is running way hot

Some of the gauges are cheap, they don't last long. The rope seals, upon absorbing oil will swell up to seal. So, oil seepage is normal. A shop with "parts changers" makes a lot of money passing their mistakes on to the consumer to pay on incorrect diagnosis.

    Front coil spring

Does your coil mounting funnel the coil to center even if you tried to put it in wrong? I would look at your witness marks and see if you could just smooth out coil rough edges on contact surfaces so that you keep suspension noises to a minimum. Metal to metal will make noise.
