HI, I'm back again, and I'm a 1953 Buick Special, which means I have the straight 8, 53 was the last year for that you know, and only in Specials. Also I have the Dynaflow transmission, a very straight and beautiful body, a very nice interior (not original but that's ok), and I run and drive real nice. My current caretaker was kind enough to fix some leaky parts (transmission, brakes (all new), radiator, gas tank (new)), which was awful nice of him. Those sorts of thing happen when a car sits around in a garage for a few decades not being driven, but at least I was out of the weather for all those long and lonely years. I only have about 28,000 miles, and I am very pretty, if I do say so myself. Yes, my engine is kinda dirty and may leak a bit, and my floorboards are a little bit rusty, and my paint might be peeling in places, but I'm in pretty darn good shape for 71 years old. I'm what you would call a survivor. I'm looking for a new home, my current caretaker has done a nice job in getting me drivable again, and I will always be thankful for that. Not many of my kind around anymore. He's asking $9000 for me, or best offer of course. Thanks, and I hope to meet some new caretaker soon. Here are some pictures which my current caretaker finally figured out how to add to my ad. He's a nice guy but hopeless with computers.
