Hank, I have 4 or 5 455's. One is a '70 out of an Estate wagon. Been sitting inside for years, wasn't seized, fairly complete, no carb. A '72, came out of a running GS years ago, also inside, fairly complete. A '73 out of a '69 Riv. engine was replaced, also fairly complete with long tail trans. Last, a '75 out of an Electra, completely complete, including trans, etc. etc. etc. Pricing ranges from $550.00-$1500.00. I live in Ct. off exit 9 off 95.

    Hi Jack

On the back of the block behind the intake below right where the trans connects there should be a stamping on it. if not on the left hand head behind the power steering pump theres numbers try and retreve there .Or by the left side head on the side of the head.where the exhust meets the head i believe tward the middle of the block.also count and see is it 5bolts or 6 for thr valve cover bolts? 5 means big block 6 is small block.

Sorry, Ads should be place in the classifieds. There is room for them to be discussed there too.
