Thread: 430 combustion chamber

    430 combustion chamber

I am doing a combustion chamber polishing on a Buick 430. There are some "nubs" for want of a better term, I am uncertain of what to do with them. Probably remove the entire raised portion.

Does anyone have a picture of a big Buick head that they know was done by someone "in the know"? Maybe reply with an image...

    Bob,

My iron "Gessler" heads are at my Dad's. I will see if he will snap a digital picture of the chamber, and I will post it.

The Nubs as you refer to them are to promote combustion turbulence around the plug for better combustion. DO NOT REMOVE.
