the alum heads will flow better out of the box than the factory heads can ever flow, even if you put thousands of dollar in porting into them.
the alum will also be more tolerant of poor quality gas ( less likely to ping or knock ), due to aluminum rejecting heat faster than the cast iron does.
you're not going to get the best possible benefit out of the alum heads on a stock type build, but if the rebuild on the cast irons is going to be a significant percentage of buying new alums i don't know why you wouldn't go ahead and get the new heads.
