Weise has actually finished up his block prep page ... he just posted it to V8Buick instead of the Tri-Shield web site and i had missed it until now.
it's excellently done, and ALL Buick builders should go over it. the page is specifically for the BBB, but the V6 / SBB / Rover share most of the same design concepts in the oiling system and owners should at least familiarize themselves with what is being done on the BBB side.
the only thing that disappoints me about this thread is that Jim didn't go into the timing cover mods. ah well, he probably just plumps for a new TA cover ...
