the specs in the book all look like the should drop straigh in
huh?
455 bore = 4.3125"
430 bore = 4.1875"
a .125" difference in bore is WAY beyond any acceptable tolerance.
ALMOST finished my rebuild when my son (he's 5) who was helping dropped a piston and cracked it ! huntong some on ebay (std size) but there are more 455's out there at more competative prices...
so... the specs in the book all look like the should drop straigh in but of course they are not all the specs so can somoene tell me will a set of 455's pistons drop into my 430 ?
TIA and happy new year everyone !
