OK Buick guys...
I am assembling a 350 Buick engine. I think it is a '72, not sure but it has hollow pushrods and a 5/8" oil pickup tube. Anyway, how do I determine which piston/rod combos go on the drivers (odd) side and which go on the passenger (even) side. I know the notch in the piston top goes toward the front of the engine. I have an old "Motor" manual that shows that the "oil spurt hole" in the rod goes toward the camshaft. My rods, however, don't seem to have any such hole. The rod caps have a raised boss on one side in the middle of the cap. Do these face each other on the crank throw? Do they face away from each other? I want to do it right, obviously, so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks, Bob! I knew someone out there would have the answer. Lots of good info there.
