FYI....As of yesterday-12-29-10, there is a '76 dark blue Buick electra 225 with a complete 455 and trans in the u-pull-it junk yard @ 141th & western ave (2247 w 141st ST. 1-866-878-5548). The yard prices last I checked are: $150 & $25 core for the engine/no accessories, $200 with accessories. $75 for the Shortblock $10 core. The heads are "see salesman".
If your in the area go get it!!!!
or... here is my proposal; I will take it out for actual cost plus $125 for my screwing around in the snow/slush/mud. So thats $300 for a '76 455 complete engine. Pickup or I can deliver for a maximum of 100 miles for actual gas cost. My time delivering is figured into my yanking price, but not the gas please.... Lemme know....
