    oil cover

Hello, I am new here. This is my first posting. I got here by doing a google search and I registered . I have a 69 Buick GS 400 convertible. I've had it about 18 years now. It hasn't given me any major problems. It has about 70k on it. The problem that I have is that the oil pump was done years ago. The oil pump cover is damaged. It does not leak, but I cannot find this part anywhere. I am pretty sure that it's the same cover on the 430 and the 455. I have a GM parts catalogue ( You know, one of the big blue ones, master parts catalogue no. p026, for 1964-76 Buicks) Anyways I cannot find a number, but under 1.723 it only shows p/n 1261716 for a 1976 455. I tried a GM dealer and it is not available anymore, if this is the part. I need to find one at a scrap yard if possible. Any suggestions? Thanks,

    Welcome to the site!

Yes, they will all fit and the best place to find one is a scrap yard.

    Here's one on ebay:
