yes this is a mistake I know. I am just a DIYer on a budget and cannot afford a tow truck. I am pulling the gas this weekend.
You ran that engine with 7 year old gasoline?

okay so I tried to pull the tank this weekend but I got stumped. I feel like a fool but I figured I would come to the board. The problem is that I do not know which line to pull to get the fuel out. Is it Driver side or pass. side or middle?
Okay so here is an update with a new problem. I got the carb rebuilt and put on the car. After replacing the fuel lines from the emptied and cleaned gas tank; I hooked the carb up and made sure I was getting great fuel pressure. I turned the car over and it ran!!!!!! My problem now is that the idle is running really high. I am afraid to keep the car running due to the high idle. I have been told its the fast idle screw or its a vacuum leak. Can someone please help me determine the right course of action?
Okay so I found out that it was a vaccuum leak and now she is idling fine! Problem now is that I have to determing what is wrong with my brakes. I bleed all my brakes this weekend and I still have no pedal. Can someone let me know if there is a test for the MC? I am hoping I do not need to replace the booster as well.
