    timing chain size

just recieved my ta perf timing set, my rebuilt 73 455 is ready to button up.merry christmas! it had been line bored so it required a larger sprocket timing set the 1st new fact spec set was so slack,5/8" to the point of drastic +and - cam movement.and the chain sawing the cover up. iv seen this happen before years ago.now snake bit about possible too tight and frying the front cam bearings.the ta set slipped right on no struggle.perfect fit,no prying.but i noticed a fraction tighter it would not been so,it now has about 3/16 -1/4 tension movement in the chain.should it be more?they have several "sized" billet sets.plus these sets are pre stretched,so would it loosen any more in time?
