    Smile 455 into a 1967 skylark

    Hi everyone

I am from New Zealand (other side of the world LOL)

I have just brought a 1967 buick skylark convertable, and looking at putting a 455 (75) and TB400 into it

what mounts do i use - and is there any other hints or thing i need to know

    Cheers

You need an metal adaptor plate. They are available from t/a performance although you can build one. The newer engine mounts are better than the ones that came in '67 and are usually used, but the engine starts sitting higher in the car, not a problem from a hot rod standpoint.

If you are trying for an original look and want a starwars air cleaner, you need original type stuff.
