Just wondering if anyone has had experience with removing gauges from the dashboard. I know the instructions tell you how to do it but they attach to a plastic ribbon connector and just wondering if there is anything to be concerned about when changing the gauges.

The crowl tag on my 1966 Riviera has EXT 2KG . I know the "2K" is for Air conditioner but what is the "G" for? I have looked at a lot of crowl tag decoders and ID sites and have never seen the "G" as an ext option.
