    1961 buick 401 starter drag

I have a 1961 buick electra 401, starts fine, but when engine is hot starter barely turns over, can someone recommend a high torq starter that will fit my engine?

regardless of whether you've got the stock starter, that's not how it should act.

if you've going to replace your starter, you ought to go through your wiring to make sure you don't have faulty connectors or cabling or something.

i think Tom has Nail mini-starters.
