    Decoding my '73 Centurion

    Hello guys!
    Can someone decoding the Fisher Body plate of my '73 Centurion?

    ST73 4BP67 Y 171684 (BDY)

    TR 444 AM6 48 (PNT)

    04A 0653
    C61 B79

    At the time I found:
    ST:
    73 = Construction year (1973)
    4 = Buick
    BP = Centurion
    67 = Convertible
    Y = Plant (Wilmington?)
    *** = (six digits serial number)
    TR:
    444 = neutral vinyl (black?)
    AM6 = 40/60 front seat
    48 = paint code (midnight green? Now the car is red... )

    But what does it means "04A" - "0653" - "C61" - "B79"?

    Thanks in advance

    Y is for Wilmington.
    444 is for Sandalwood (or Neutral) all-vinyl interior.
    48 is for Midnight Green.
    04A is the build date.
    04 = April
    A = first week
    0653 is unknown.
    C61 is option code for automatic-control HVAC system.
    B79 is option code for rear end exterior ornamentation.
    This option is probably for additional trim around the rear deck area.

    Thank you very much, gentleman!
    Now I know that mt car hasn't the original body paint and interior trim; there isn't either the A/C compressor and condensator...
    I think I should have to do a lot of refitting works...
