are you sure 1931-34 are the years you're looking for?
i show that 1930 was the last year of Buick I-6 ( 213, 258 and 331ci ) production with all engines moving to the I-8 form factor in 1931 ( 221, 273 and 345ci ). a straight 6 wouldn't be seen in a Buick again until the 1960s when some of the base models had a Chevy I6 installed.
