    322 rebuild idea's

I have a 1956 322 in my 23 T bucket. I have no idea how many miles are on this motorI'm starting to get some blow by out of both breather caps,no blue smoke comming out the headers. The other day I in installed points, rotor, condenser and a new cap. Set the points at .oo15. Now #7 and #8 are weak. With the car running it doesn't drop any rpm with either wire pulled off. I'am going to run a compression this week. it just seem funny that after new stuff it runs worse.?
Are Buick pron to #7 and #8 problems ?. I have only owned Chevy inline six-s in the pass. Any help ?
Where is a g ood place to buy parts in Vista or San Diego Calif.
