Where can I get info on This 1951 51 model?

Bought a nice buick. I put a replacement 6 volt battery in it. Is this origional? Is there a better way to wire the car? Is there a shop manual anywhere? Thanks!

What other info are you looking for? Yes, it is originally a 6volt car. I wouldn't convert to 12 volt unless you were having some sort of problems with the 6volt system. If you really want to though, you can get a how to book here:

As far as mannuals, you can usually pick up cheaper xerox copies on ebay. They are pretty poor quality though, but the info is there.

Here's an original 1951 Shop manual on ebay, right now it's at 19.51 with 6.50 shipping!

The seller has a real good rating too...

There are several more originals, plus a reprint that the fellow claims to be high quality.
