    1971 Buick Skylark

    I am looking for a connector for a capacitor that plugs into the voltage regulator. I can find the capacitor all over the place but none of which have the correct connector. The connector plugs into the voltage regulator that I am looking for. I have been told that I really don't need that for the car and I have been told that there was a new voltage regulator produced that I guess has the capacitor built in. Does any one have any ideas or can give me some direction?

    static supp

    I do believe that is actually another static suppressor
    which would be the reason the charging system will work without it there
    as far as finding one with the right slip on plug that will be tough because
    all of the aftermarket suppresors just have the fork style wire end,
    myself i would go to a pull and save yard and get on off a car
