    1988 buick lesabre 2nd gen elect ignition

    getting no fire from coils,have power to ignition module on pink/black wire.does anyone know ohms resistance on cam/crank sensors.if i tested every wire at ignition mod plug.what readings should i be getting,i have module wire diagram,but no test procedures.how do i condemn module,I guess is what i am asking.

    Are the fuel injectors firing ? You can test them with a 12volt test light ..to see if they are working . If your injectors are not firing and you have no spark ,,first place to check is the cranksensor signal tp ing. module .HTH

    You can take your ignition module to AutoZone or Advance and
    they will check it for free. Crank sensors are not that expensive, I think
    $15 or so. It would be hard to verify the cranking pulse without a scope.

    I have a crank sensor hear from a Corsica. It measures 900 ohms.
    should get you in the ball park.
