i have a 1965 buick special with 300 ci 4.9L my casting numbers on my 2bbl manifold are 1367485 and that does not match the buick web site???????? but the real problem is i may have found a 4bbl manifold for a 65 it is cast iron and the junk yard guy has it labled for a 65 buick 300 but his casting number is 1386695 and the web site has 1367299 for the 65 4bbl manifold ive been to two web sites and i cant seem to find the match for my 2bbl manifold so now im wondering what i should do. are there different casting numbers for the same part....ive looked on buick sites but the list is incomplete
the casting #s are VERY incomplete, just because you don't see it listed doesn't mean it's not correct. the listing for 350s is especially bad.
the best way to check the block is with the two digit letter code which will give you year/displacement/output even if a casting number is reused in multiple years ... and we do have a complete list of those over in the shop.
