215 4 Speed manual bellhousing wanted!

My '63 Buick 215 came with an automatic, I am using the motor for a project car, I need a 4 speed manual bellhousing. Let me know if you have one to sell, condition, and price. I am new to this forum and am looking forward to being a part of the group! Thanks!

    Thanks,

I don't have access to a manual bellhousing but would like to know what you are going to do with the automatic transmission?

I have a (totally screwed up one with 7.5:1 pistons) 4300 series 215 that was pulled from an automatic car and cant find a decent transmission and was thinking of adapting a Ford C4, but if the stock trans can dandle some power upgrades, it might be my only option.

If I had the cash, I would have bought the trans also.

    I have 3 questions.

    Do you still have it?
    What condition is it in?
    Are willing to sell it?

    215 Auto trans

A friend has it now, I think it is just sitting. I doubt he will use it. He had the engine and tranny rebuilt, then decided he wanted more power, sold me the engine and really did not seem to want the tranny. I had the tranny sitting in my garage for several months, then took it back to him. I'll see if i can track it down for you.

    2 Speed Dynaflow

I spoke to the owner of the tranny. It has approx 250miles since it was rebuilt, now out of the car. He could only find one shop in Denver to do the rebuild. He will sell it for $1100 plus shipping. I do not know anything about these trannies, so I don't know if this is a deal or not.

    62 skylark tranny

just wondering if that tranny for the 62/215 Buick Skylark is still available?
I have 62 Skylark in need of a tranny.
I know someone who has a V6 for sale.
Would you know if the V6 has the same automatic 2 speed transmission?

Moved to Chicago and now have a new computer so I am back on line.

    $1100?????

Sorry, but for that price I could have a C4 bellhousing fabricated from scratch, have 3 speeds and total reliability!

Or if a 2 speed is preferred.
Buy and rebuild aluminum Powerglide with a 215 adapter plate complete ready to run, and still have enough for a trip to VEGAS!

Perhaps I should manufacture some C4 bellhousings for the 215 and sell them!
