    No start/94 Roadmaster 5.7

1994 roadmaster - Vehicle does not crank. I am getting no voltage to the solenoid wire on the starter. I am getting 12v from the ignition switch when held over to crank position but it is not getting to the starter. 5 amp crank fuse is OK. Moved gear selecter up and down, nuetral safety switch is OK. Where does the 12v from the ignition switch go? PCM? Fuel pump relay?
    Thanks for your help!

Is your sercuity light on ?Your car has passlock , the key cyl. has two white
wires that send a code to the starter interlock relay and could be broken.
( common problem ) you would need to replace the ing. key cyl.( comes with the wires attached ) a scan tool will verifiy this problem ( looking at passlock codes & data ) This is all based on what you have checked . Any
break in the passlock circuit or passlock relay could also be the problem but
what I have given you is most common . Good luck .

Thanks for the reply. I checked the wires. None broken. I even tried the spare Ign. key that is new. Any info on how to by-pass the Pass-lock.

Problem solved - I used a ohm meter to check for resistance on the small white wires under dash coming from pass-lock in lock tumbler. With the key in ignition no resistance was measured on ohm meter. I removed the key and measured the resistance on the pellet in the key. 4.7 ohms. So now I know what the reading should have been if the lock tumbler was sensing the key inserted. I went to Radio Shack and purchased a pack of 4.7k ohm resistors for 99 cents. Leaving everything conected, I soildered one in between the white wires.
    Case closed. Starts fine...........
