    63 riviera driveshaft midship bearing

my midship bearing pooped out. the rubber vulcanized section split in half. & the bearing is shot. i can get the bearing at the parts store, but not the rest of it, they want 51 dollars for the bearing. anybody know where to get one of the bracket and rubber part, or any swaps. ? a friend bought one for his 63 impala . are they similar? thanks for any help. ddtman

I have been having the same problem with my 67 Sabre. I tracked down I saddle a couple of years ago but I can not for the life of me remember where I got it from. I am actually putting in a straight shaft as I have nothing but problems with this split shaft.
