Difference is one jj, I think . . .
i have a 75 lesabre conv with the riveria style rims, and my question is on the inside of the wheels are stamped with a code 6jj and another rim with 7jj, they look the same, 5" bolt pattern, what is the differance? is this a manufacturing code for differant suppliers? also when did the wheels change? i think it was around 1970, when the centers changed and the new style center caps appeared. thanks jwc191

Difference is one jj, I think . . .
finally received a 4th rim for my 75. 3 had jj6 & 1 had the jj7 stamped on the back side. they were all the same, polished them up, put new rubber, just like new shoes on my baby. the rims are the same. must have been a manufacturing code.
