Trans-Dapt used to make a couple of adapters for 215.
Olds and Pontiac also used the 215, but other than that I don't know of any other engine except maybe the Buick V6's in the early Specials that share that bolt pattern.
Anyone know of an adapter or remanufactured bell housing to fit a Ford C4 to a 215 V8?
I see them, 1 bell housing and 2 adapters, for the Chevy turbo 350, 400 and powerglide.
Also, what engines shared that trans bolt pattern?

Dan
you may also have an issue bolting the Torque converter to the flywheel, GMs use 3 nut and bolt fasteners and fords use 4 bolts that go through the flywheel into the torque converter.
you may also have an issue with the size of the torque converter when you bolt it to the flywheel, as the C4 converter isn't as big as GM converters.
im not trying to say it's impossible, but it'll be a nice project.
I no longer have a C4 flex plate, but it fits the C4 bellhousing and looks like it belongs there except for having only 3 torque converter mounting holes.
But when using the Buick 300 crank in the 215 block, they use a modified C4 flexplate to hook it up.
When I get my C4, I'll have a flexplate to experiment with.
