    Hi,

    I'm working on a '68 Buick Coupe- 350engine with a 4 barrel carb, equipped with a turbo 400 tranny.

Does anyone know what the screw in insert at the back of the intake manifold that attaches to a rigid steel line back to the transmission is called?
Also, What's the press in rubber insert that runs a rubber hose to the front of the carb called?

And where can I buy either?!?

    Thanks in advance!

The line from the Transmition to the back of the block is Your vacum line from the vacum modulator on the transmition.

From your discription of the "black insert" that runs a line to the carborator I believe that that is your Thermo Vac Switch.

You'll have to go to a auto parts store to get these replaced. Engine specialists may have them as well.
