Question

This car is driving me nuts. I'm trying to put on a new exhaust and I can't verify if I have the Buick 350 or a Chevy 350. I'm leaning towards the Chevy (which I'm not too happy about...) Is there any way to definately determine which engine it is? Where do I find the engine ID code and how do I decifer it? I really want to get the convert back on the road as the weather has finally turned nice in Minnesota. Thanks in advance for any help.

Easiest way: Distributor in front = Buick, distributor in back = Chevy
