I need a repair manual for the buick engine 350 with the cast number 138220189 build 1968-71 !...what would you say is the best repair manual for this engine ?..we will completley overhaul the engine !

Actually I don't know- he wrote that book several years ago (15-20 years?) but it is still considered one of the best technical resources for how to build Buick engines.

You could buy a shop manual. It would give you everything you need to know. You will find one by going to Books4cars. There is a link on the front page of the forum.

thanks for your help bob & bob455 ..my friend brings me today a book calls "Mitchell Manuals for Automotive Professionals"..inside I can see the basics for adjustments etc..if I have any question for buick engine I tell it here !..
