You can buy the motor mounts from either TA Performance or Poston, and the 455 will fit . The 67 GS had a 400 option, and the 455 has the same exterior dimensions. I would advise a tranny change also, as the 300 won't handl big block torque.
Well I have an oppertunity to aquire a 455 from a '72 Buick and would be interested in squeezing it in my '67 Skylark that currently has the 300/300 combo in it. How much trouble am I asking for if I can talk someone into helping me out with this request? I understand that my year of Skylark came with a big block option. Not of course the 455 but I think it had the option of a 400.

How about the rear.
The rear will be iffy, if you have a posi and grippy tires you could get traction and break things. Be careful if you stick to the 8.2" rear, GM made several in the mid 60's that are not Corporate and the parts do not interchange like the 8.5" from the 70's. Even the Buick only 8.2" from 68-70 won't interchange with the BOP 65-67 8.2" Check this guy out, he knows the Buick rears and has a great forum for learning.
