Hi, I’m new to Buick motors and was thinking about putting a straight eight in my hot rod project (1926 Model T Tudor) for some great nostalgia. I have an opportunity to purchase a straight eight from a 1952 Roadmaster. I know that the ’52s were supposed to have a 320 C.I. motor with a 4 barrel carb. I was wondering if anyone has ever put lake style headers (see www.lakeheaders.com for examples) on a straight eight? The intake and exhaust manifold are on the same side of the engine so there might be interference problems? Thanks for all of the advice.

On the inline engines, it was common practice to dump all the exhaust into one HUGE pipe, and run it down the side.
