I have a 93 Buick Regal that shows code 22 when I run a diagnostic check. The ECM codes say check TPS adjustment, check the ECM connector, or replace the TPS. Is this something a novice mechanic can do? Please e-mail me here or at mtgreer1@alltel.net with any advise. Remember I am a novice so please be specific.

most throttle position sensors should not have to be adjusted, and if you do feel the need to adjust it, you better read up on it first. the throttle position sensor will be on the throttle body just to the left of the mass airflow sensor, it is pointed slighty down, its round with a 3 pin connector. 2 screws hold it in place. check the wiring connections before you replace it, but replacing it is very easy
