I have a 95 Buick Park Ave with a 3800 series 2 motor. I have a water leak and not sure how tough it will be to fix myself or what a shop would charge to fix it. The leak is coming from where the pipe coming out of waterpump going into the motor. The pipe that is bent at a 90 degree. There doesn't seem to be much room to turn the pipe, not sure how involved it will be. I purchased the car a couple months ago and runs perfect but started leaking. Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance and nice forum.

i may be nuts, but if there is room to pull the pipe out-do it, or make room to pull it out. drain the water first of course. if its what i think it is its simply a bad o ring, replace it, give it some lube and shove it back in, good luck.

ya most likely they did, mine had a bad water leak at the pipe that threads into the block, it was plastic and should have been steel

Wanted to say Thanks to RonLange. You were right about it being an o-ring. I thought it was threaded in, was nice to know it would pull out. I all ready fixed it. Thanks Again.
