I purchased an 89 Regal GS, that cranks but wont fire. I was told it was an ignition module changed it and still won't start, then was told crank sensor bad, can't find one, the one they sell in the stores does not match the one in the car? Does anyone have any ideas on where to get one and is there anything else that I might need to make it fire?
    Thanks

I replaced both Crank Position and Cam Position Sensors on my 92 Lesabre 3800. Worked like a charm. What motor is in your Regal? You can check out autozone's website to search on "how to" and price out the replacement sensors. good luck

Is it possible that the 1 in the car is the wrong
one? Maybe your problem is something else!? I hate
to say it, dealerships usually know/can find the
problem, but, they're never cheap. At least you
would find out for sure though. How long have you
had this 89 ? Sometimes bad fuel pumps-starter
solonoids-etc can cause these symptoms. This may
sound stupid, make sure you have gas, parked on a
level area, and smell to see if you're getting any
gas? Tapping "lightly" ...real light on fuel rails
(fuel injected model) may loosen dirt in line and
    allow fuel to flow properly.
