I'm attempting to change out my blower fan motor on my 99 Regal - I've got the dash apart and visualizing motor but can not get the plug off - afraid may damage wires - any suggestions ...

Dave...you didn't need to take the dash apart....the blower motor can be removed by lying on your back on the passenger side....the plug is a pain in the a__s but, if you use a pair of needle nose pliers and a slim line flat tip screwdriver you can pry it apart. The plug may get a littlee out of shape but it "will" go back together...I just replaced mine last October...Oh, by the way, I advise that you buy your replacement motor from a Buick dealer as it is not much difference in price, (maybe $5 more) and it comes with some extra replacement parts which aren't supplied by aftermarket parts houses like Auto Zone etc...One last thing, you'll need to change out the heater fuses to a 30 Amp...Instructions come with the heater blower from the dealer...godd luck...let me know how things turn out...
