electric seats

i have a 1980 buick regal limited. and my question is does anybody know whats it called or where i can find one, where on the drivers seat has power seats and theres the motor and some kinda plastic case or motor or what ever it is..the plastic part broke on mine and my seat wont move anymore.. the motor just spins..I dont know what the hell its called or where to find one..hope you all can help me..Thanx Roland

Best thing to do would be to go the dealer and have them look up the part for you. They should have a parts book with pictures so you can show them which part it is. Once you figure that out, if it is not available from GM, at least you know what part you are looking for when you start calling the junk yards.

I did go to the dealer here and they didnt know..I really havent took it off the seat yet..Most everything on my car has been discontinued..But thanx for your help Bill...
